In 1755, Captain Ludvig Kahlen sets out to fulfill a seemingly impossible mission: he wants to conquer the harsh, uninhabitable Danish countryside. The man’s goal is to build a colony in the name of the king. But a ruthless local landlord thinks otherwise and arrogantly believes that this land belongs exclusively to him.
